All right, this is awesome.
If there’s going to be shirtage, there will be one to start with and I’ve probably settled on what it would be, but this needs to exist some way. Even if it’s just a button, but a shirt would be bestest.
I’m dying inside because I’d love any radch shirts in general but I’ve got such a soft spot for pins. still.
It’s difficult because if you have amusing pins it’s a delicate matter of making sure everyone you know reads them while navigating that fiddly “is it rude if I ask you to read my collarbone” line.
If nothing else maybe I can wrangle some personal favours and ask my wife to screen print me something no beating a good shirt.

I actually love the idea of “make your own radch shirt” day. And 2SID is as good a date as any!
I was playing with Zazzle just a bit, and it doesn’t seem to like Safari much so I’ll try it on a PC and see if that goes better. But, Zazzle, totally something that would make “Make your own IR shirt” work. I’m gonna maybe put that in my calendar.

I used to Zazzle! I have so many nonsensical quotes from previous fanaticisms on old cut offs (so good for lounge wear which is of course my fave) I’d forgotten about it until now and that’s an excellent idea. If nothing else when I’m in a more summery area of the planet of 2SID we could toss in some tiedye (black and brown tiedye?? Could be boring hm)

Right, then! Buttons are a go for worldcon! (I may need to restrain myself. The con asked if anyone wanted to sponsor benches in an open (indoor) space at the con that’s meant to be, if I understand correctly, a version of the cool “fan village” Loncon had. Or if a bench is not sufficient, one can sponsor a “mini park” with a bench. I am in the process of establishing the Lieutenant Awn Memorial Park, and I keep thinking, “You know what else would be cool….”)
And woah, turns out buttons are relatively cheap. Any other button ideas/requests that might potentially turn up on an actual button? I am half considering one that says “so glad I’m not Dlique”
